It was a joyous evening. It’s the birthday of out favourite neighbourhood policeman ahliang so we got together to celebrate and have dinner. This conversation began halfway through dinner:

ME: Whut? *Looks around* The waitress?
BT: Ya, I got a feeling that she’s a Japanese.

*Note: The waitress couldn’t understand english, we had to repeat our requests 2-3times before she gets her manager to attend to us*

ME: Vietnam in my opinion.
BT: I feel like going over and ask her for her number leh.
XY: What if she replies “NI HAO(heavy china accent)” when you ask for her number? Hahaha ahtiong’ed
BT: OMG .. I will… I WILL… *CLENCHES FIST FIT IN RAGE*
BT: But I still think there is a high chance for her to be Japanese.

*After several minutes*

ME: Eh, she’s walking towards our table. Here’s your chance to ask.
BT: But I scared later I ask then turn out to be ahtiong leh.
ME: LOL later you ask for her number then she take off her waitress uniform, then there’s a tshirt inside with “DA ZHONG GUO” written on it gg.
BT: The other waitress cfm ahtiong leh, but they 2 look like sisters. I think is ahtiong sia.
ME: Vietnam (I don’t know why i kept saying vietnam)

*After another several minutes, the 2 waitress are standing near our table, chatting*

YH: EH BT, HERE’S YOUR CHANCE LIAO, GO ASK FOR HER NUMBER! YOUR SPRING HAZ ARRIVE!

*He didn’t say it that loud really, I think u might be able to hear it 2miles away*

ME(In english): Did you already ruled out the possibilities that they might understand mandarin?

Waitress: *walks away giggling*

ME: Yes please.

Anyway I don’t really find that nonya show a big deal, though my mum tunes in to it everyday without fail.

But it’s not like every single person owns a television (that’ll be 4 television, ON, at the same time, watching the same damned channel per average household). Or did they do it by ratio

My views on the show? Kinda “bleh”. Though it does not have the typical mediacockcorp ending (starts off normally->money problem->affairs->whatever family problems->happy). Look at how Jeanette Aw acted. I think, if I’m able to build an android, input emotions,program it to say “give me back my chicken soup” every 2 minutes or so, it’ll be able to act better. Many others that aren’t even worth mentioning as well. But i particularly find Joanne Peh(Yu Zhu) acted really well in this show. Did u see her in feral? Roar.. so… savage.

Anyway I’m not a supporter of local drama. Japanese dramas are for-the-win

Just as i was enjoying the last 45minutes of my slumber, i felt a faint, piercing pain. Unnoticable, but it was there. Being tough like i always am, i concluded that it was nothing that required my attention and went back to sleep..

Within seconds, it grew exponentially into an immense manifested pain stirring up the HCl residing within the depths of my stomach.

“This is not good”, I thought to myself, “A great storm is coming, I must make haste”.

I flipped out of my warm, cozy bed and sprinted towards the bathroom. The pain got worse. Whatever’s inside is trying to reign sovereignty over my stomach.

“I can’t let that happen”

I faced the pain head on. After a few minutes into the battle, i couldn’t get it out.

“I MUST NOT LET THIS BE THE END OF ME!”

Using my colossal bowel strength and burning determination, i finally managed to get the nasty hellspawns out. It was excruciating. Like water gushing out of a broken river dam.

With my precise sense of time i speculate that i still have 30minutes to sleep before dawn breaks.

I pulled up my worn legplates after cleaning up the valley where the the battle broke out. Just i was going to exit the bathroom, i felt it again. The faint, piercing pain is back.

“It must be the remaining residue, son-of-a-bitch”

I returned to the ceramic whirlpool and start off round 2.

I struggled.

“It’s even more powerful now. But why? Or it is I who’s gotten weaker?”

Indeed, it was I. With the tiny vessel of strength left within me. My colossal bowel strength is colossal no more. A head on battle will just lead to a blood-soaked ass.

“If I can no longer win by brawns then so be it! I will devise a strategy!”

I endured, defended against the savage blows. It was torturous. After several minutes of reckless assault, the pain starts to reside…

“As i expected, peace after a great storm.”

I took the chance. With all my remaining might, I delivered the last and fatal blow.

I won. The foreign entity is no longer within me… It was a great relief.

“Wake up it’s time to go to work! Eh? Are you in the toilet?”, My mother shouted across the room.

There goes my morning.

Occasionally i log on to this free to play MMORPG called REAL-LIFE. REAL-LIFE has over 6billion players all over the world! considering there’re only 10 million population in Azeroth, that’s quite a huge number! REAL-LIFE also has ultimate-super-fantastic in game graphics!

I’ve been playing REAL-LIFE for 19 years now. Let me give a brief introduction. You start off by creating your character, just like any other game. There are plenty of races to choose from, such as caucasian, chinese, japanese, korean, malay, indian etc etc, simply countless. Classes are developed as your character levels. Not being able to choose your own character’s name is kinda letdown tho, and apparently you’ll be thrown into a random guild upon creating your character. I ended up with<TEO> Boon Peng. A male chinese.

As a chinese you are able to choose 2 spawn areas to spawn to. China and Singapore. I chose Singapore cuz China looks too big.

Leveling in REAL-LIFE is way fuking hard. Can you believe i did a chain quest that lasted 6 years. THEN IT LEADS TO ANOTHER CHAIN QUEST AND I TOOK ANOTHER 4 YEARS COMPLETING THAT. All i get from that is just a lousy piece of paper.

To be honest REAL-LIFE doesn’t really have alot of content. All i see are people farming for gold, bah they call that money, whatever. Everyone is farming money! With like no ending! But i heard that next patch 2.0..0.9 the developers are gonna make some changes. They are gonna add in a new area called The Integrated Resort, for entertainment purposes. The electricity bills are decreased by 25%.

So, in REAL-LIFE, other than doing chain quests and farming gold.. i mean money, i travel around with my guildmates too! Pa-Pa and Ma-Ma. TBH my guild really has welfare, i receive 10gold..  i mean 10 dollars from the guildbank everyday. And of course hanging out with friends in REAL-LIFE can be really fun too!

As for the PVP aspects for REAL-LIFE. Basically you can PK anyone you see. Everyone is flagged PVP. But you gotta beware of guards wearing blue. They patrol the server to keep the server from getting too chaotic.

There aren’t much skills in REAL-LIFE too. Most of my skills are of subtlety, such as, Walking-Silently-Out-Of-The-Office-Without-Anyone-Noticing, Boss Evasion, Deadline lengthening, Misdirection ( i like this one ), Forum Lurking. Pretty much useless in combat but its so damn useful if you’re on the office chain quest like me now.

You can also date and get married in REAL-LIFE too! However please select your spouse with careful considerations because if you ever wanna leave your spouse you gotta go though troublesome shit. They call it legal procedures, lame asses. From what i know /gquit requires legal procedures too, but i’m pretty happy with my guild now so i’m staying.

Anyway i’m heading back to Dalaran. REAL-LIFE gets boring at times.

kay let me summarize what i’ve been doing for the past 24 days.

up till last saturday and sunday. jieyu’s exam ended so we went to the 2-day anime fest asia. when we went over in the morning(like friggin early) to redeem our tickets. i was astonished by the amount of people there! damn those otaku’s! NPNT

k so the fest consists of many booths selling stuffs that are related to japanese anime and manga culture. booths selling figurines were the most crowded. there were also panels exhibiting fan made manga and many other fan-art! NPNT

jieyu got attracted to this particular booth. it sells comic studio softwares which allows you to draw manga into using your computer. the set comes with the software and a touch-screen pad. the program is so amazing, its high precision and the tools made us speechless. we stood there looking at people draw for like 1 hr… but the whole thing costs $1700+. if its $17.00 i’ll buy for u k (: NPNT

the main event was the live performance from a local band. they performed several theme songs from animes and the all-time anticipated may’n did live singing on day 2. NPNT

all the while during the event. u can see many cosplayers walking around. posing for people to take pictures. most of them were .. err… sub-par? lol but there’re some which are really nice looking. NPNT
